Statement 3: New Sculpture from Germany | Goethe-Gallery and Black Box Studio
Part of the VIP programme of Art Basel Hong Kong 2016

“Since the 1960s there is an extended concept of art which has abandoned the common forms of composition and design especially for the artworks in the fields of Sculpture, Plastic and Installation and emphasizes everyday materials in favour of random parameters.” (Georg Elben, Director of the Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl)

Presented by Goethe-Institut Hongkong and in collaboration with The Ministry of Art and the Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl in Germany, “Statement 3: New Sculpture from Germany” will be held from March 15 to April 9, 2016 at the Goethe-Gallery and Black Box Studio of Goethe-Institut Hongkong. Works by six artists from Germany will be presented and an exhibition catalogue is available for visitors to the exhibition. The exhibition is part of the VIP programme of Art Basel Hong Kong 2016.
