“All About Us” is a creative filmmaking project for ethnic minorities youths organised under Hong Kong Arts Centre’s flagship programme ifva. Through fun challenges during two exciting camps and weeks of filming activities, participants will learn from hands-on experience – write screenplays, scout locations, sketch storyboards, try their hands at working with a film set, edit videos and sounds, and discover how to tell their own story through moving images.
“All About Us” now comes to its sixth year. It will include an Orientation Night, a 3-day-2-night Orientation Camp, a series of film production activities and a 3-day-2-night Intensive Production Camp. Participants will learn from veteran film-makers and professional video artists to produce short videos. Selected videos will be screened in public film screenings! “All About Us 2015/16” is a free program sponsored by Hong Kong Arts Development Council, in collaboration with Life Workshop and partnership with the Department of Cultural Studies of Lingnan University and the Department of Humanities and Creative Writing of Hong Kong Baptist University. Youth of ethnic minorities (14-20 years old) are welcomed to join this program. Deadline for application is 12th October, 2015 (Tue).
